Akiko is from one of the first crops of kids bearing our herd name. Her dam Gypsy Moon CM Akoya 5*M was also the dam of our only buck at that time, Gypsy Moon SM Mai Tai *B so Akoya was bred to friend Tracy Darby's buck Zanzabeez ZSR Crowd Control. Akiko inherited the polled gene from Crowd Control and has so far been the only polled doe in our herd. She was sold as a kid but was later offered back to us. It was a hard sell due to the number of goats we had but it sure was a good thing to bring her back. Akiko is a powerhouse milker with a gorgeous socked-on udder characteristic of the Zanzabeez herd. She finished her AR milk star at the age of 4 and her championship at the age of 6
