Snip is a very pretty bright chamoisee yearling doe from a lot of Fairland Farm genetics. Her dam easily earned her milk Star as a first freshener and her sire’s dam is our doe Olive who was 89th percentile in milk production for the Nigerian breed in 2023 despite being milked just once a day for half her lactation. Snip freshened in 2025 with a single buckling sired by CH Agape’s Prize Nutty Buddy. She is currently doing a good job on the milk stand, is easy to milk by hand as well as by machine. She is currently milking around 3 lb per day. Snip has the conformation desired in a show goat, with a nice long bone pattern. She has a sweet disposition like her mother and her maternal grandmother GCH Fairland Farm AR Sirius 1*M. Snip still needs to grow and develop more but she has lots of potential. She was shown in the huge Intermediate kid class at the 2024 ADGA Nationals. Hadley did a great job showing her and made me very proud.
Snip is offered for sale in milk, she would make a great 4-H or homestead goat and possibly could be competitive at open shows as well.
